Spiritual Retreat, Sedona Vortex Tours, and 2009 LOA Action Plans

Spiritual Retreat or a Sedona Vortex tour is a great place to create an action plan to apply the Law of Attraction for 2009.
How was 2008? What were your successes in 2008? Are you ready to apply the medicine of bear to hibernate and go within while creating your goals and action plan for 2009?

Have you ever wondered why you feel like hibernating during the winter time? For some areas there should be a natural hibernation to stay in read, write and go within to avoid the ice and snow. However in our society there is a need to keep going no matter what the weather is like outside. We are not allowed the luxury of hibernation that our natural rhythm may be driving us to experience. Are you curious about Animal Spiritua Medicine or Shamanic Journeys? Join me tomorrow as I interview Jerry Red Eagle, on Sedona Spirit Talk Radio. Learn what a Shamanic Journey is and how to connect with your spirit animal.

Bear medicine in the Native American Tradition is the ability to honor our natural drive to hibernate and go within to replenish ourselves. Bear medicine also gives us the strength to journey within and travel through the spiritual dimensions. In addition Bear medicine gives us the ability to face our inner deamons and inner fears. Bear is a gentle medicine but very stong and capable of disolving those inner fears that restrict our movement forward in our life. Bear medicine or the yearning to go within is a great time to schedule a spiritual retreat.

On Saturday I will be posting a video of a bowl burning ceremony to release the year and release the habits, conditioning and patterns that no longer serve your life. You can do this in a fire pit, bowl, or abalone shell. For today draw a large circle on a piece of paper write in the center everything that you want to have in your life. This can be things that are already present or things that you want to attract this next year. Then take a piece of paper and write down everything that you are ready to release. The bowl burning video on Saturday will show you the ceremony to release your fears and habits.

Contact us when you are ready to visit Sedona. We would love to be your spiritual guide and assist you to create the perfect spiritual retreat or Sedona Vortex tour.

Spiritual Retreats, Meditation and Spiritual Healing

Spiritual Retreats are a wonderful place to learn meditation and spiritual healing. Are you feeling overwhelmed with emotions and tasks to accomplish before the end of the year and for the holidays. Meditation is a wonderful way to release stress and bring yourself back to your center.

Today I want to talk about the butterfly and the medicine of the butterfly. The butterfly means transformation and trusting your spiritual transformation. At this time of year it is a good time to look at your accomplishments for the year and complete tasks. What are you ready to transform in your life? There is a lot of change happening all around us and it is important to trust yourself to change and unfold to your higher self. Take time to reflect and look at your life and what you want to keep and what you want to transform. At which phase of the butterfly are you? Are you the cocoon or ready to take flight and unfold your wings?

Many of us grew up not trusting life or ourselves to evolve in the most postive way. Do you expect positive outcomes or do you expect failure? Give yourself permission to evolve to a new level of yourself. Break through barriers that feel familiar but no longer serve you. Journal this week about your success for the year and your lessons that you are ready to release this year. On friday I will be sharing a process to release lessons and make your action plan for the new year.

Set aside time each day to breath and relax and release your stress. When looking at your holiday gift list give the gift of healing with our spiritual retreats.

Sedona Retreats, Spiritual Vortex Tours, and Shamanic Journeys

Sedona Retreats and Sedona Spiritual Vortex tours are a great place to experience the beauty of Sedona. Join me on Blog Talk Radio as we explain what a shamanic journey is and how to align with your spirit animals.

Take a look at the beautiful full moon picture submitted by Jinny. She will soon have her photos made into posters and will have them available for sale.

How do you find your spirit animal? How do you align with your spirit animal to break habits and release blocks to your power? First let's discuss the power of Crow. When you visit Sedona often you will see Crow everywhere. You might wonder what the bird is trying to say to you. Have you ever heard the clicking noise it makes in its throat? Often when I am working with our retreat guests the Crow will appear. Crow represents the laws of nature and it is a reminder that what we think about will come about. It is the essence of the law of attraction and cautions us of what we allow our thoughts to dwell upon. Crow also brings messages from spirit and is a reminder to clear away the self abuse we give to ourselves through our thoughts.

How do you use Crow Medicine? When you visualize Crow see yourself being able to see your fears and all the old thoughts, beliefs and conditioning from the past for what it is. Then realize that you have choice and can stop fear, worry, and anxiety by stopping your thoughts. Give yourself a visual that anchors in new thoughts and the feeling of being safe. Each and every time you stop your thoughts it gets easier and easier to stay in choice and change your thoughts.

Each day I will be blogging about different animal medicine and how to align with their medicine. Leave me a message and let me know how it is working for you.

Sedona Retreats and Sedona Vortex tours make a wonderful healing gift for yourself or a loved one. Let us be your spiritual guide to Sedona through our Sedona Retreats or Spiritual Vortex tours.

Sedona Retreats, Holiday Secrets for Happiness and Success

Sedona Retreats are a great place to clear away the patterns that might be blocking your flow of money. Today I was reading a book that was given to me by a friend. The book is "Inspiration Sandwich" by Sark. It is a great little book of inspiration with stories to inspire our creative freedom. Here is one of my favorite stories about money, belief, and creation.

"Years ago, in the Bahamas, I had no money, and was tired of sleeping in the lounge chairs by the pool. I went to one of The Big Hotels and asked to see the manager. I told him that I would like to babysit or teach swimming in exchange for a room. He just looked at me, and then reached into a drawer, took out a set of keys and putshed them across the desk. He said "Take these. I was young and broke once too." The keys opened the door to a pent house on the top floor. I lived there for a month.

How many times do we get in our own way when we get inspiration? Rather than act, we explain it away by saying that we don't have the money, time, experience, talent, too old, too young, etc. Inspiration and direction come to us often, but gets lost in old belief patterns and lack of action.

Practice listening to your inspiration and putting it into action. What are you afraid will happen if you do? That you will fail or succeed? Write me a note and let me know what happens when you follow through with your inspiration. Remember Sark says that Impossible means I'm possible. Plant all your impossible seeds, and dreams and see what blooms!

We would love to be your spiritual guide to Sedona. Let us help you plan a retreat for yourself or gift your loved ones with a spiritual retreat!

Thanksgiving, Gratitude, Dyan Garris Blog Tour

Thanksgiving is a special time to offer gratitude, today I feel especially grateful to be interviewing Dyan Garris. She is a wonderful healer and a blessing to all the lives she touches through her music, and DVD's. Yesterday I started the first part of our interview and today I will continue. Be sure to read through the complete interview to recieve my favorite Thanksgiving recipe at the end. Many of my readers enjoyed the free Angel card reading from yesterday so if you haven't yet, click the link above.

Children are such blessings. My two grandsons age two and three respond to energy work so quickly, and love music. They respond more quickly and dramatically to music how would you explain this?
Children are more emotionally open than most adults. They are “allowed” to feel things and express those feelings.

What do you want to share about your experience in creating the Chakra Clearing DVD?
“Doors To The Soul” DVD for Automatic Chakra Balance™ is one of the apexes of my Spiritual Toolbox™. For the visuals I used some of the cards from “Voice of the Angels – A Healing Journey Spiritual Cards.” Those were the base and one prong of the foundation of the “toolbox.” So now they’ve moved into this higher realm. It’s representative of transforming lower vibrations into the higher. They are the cards, but not the cards. Transforming the lower into the higher is one of the goals of the spiritually transformational work we’re all doing here on the planet right now as we move forward on the path to ascension.

And for the music I took the song “The Journey” which is a song from my first CD and reworked it into a different or “higher” version. What’s also interesting about this and what makes the whole “journey” or “toolbox” very different from just a bunch of disjointed products is that the song “The Journey” is comprised of the channeled quatrain verses from the original cards. The verses form a story/song. You see, it’s all a very integrated journey. Everything is designed to work together. Everything in my Spiritual Toolbox™ is part of everything else, just as we are.
It has been proven that meditation can affect the expansion of our brain capacity and memory.

Can you share how music can assist us to expand our memory and the “feel good endorphin” chemical production in our brain?

Scientifically, I don’t know that music specifically helps us expand our memory or not. I do know that music works on our “emotional bodies” and that shift in our energy field can definitely produce a shift in our physical bodies. It’s probably a complex scientific process. But to simplify, think about a song you chose to hear at your wedding, for example, or a song that had deep emotional meaning for you in high school. When you hear that song today, you feel transported by your memories right back to that time; and you may even feel as if you’re physically there again. Music is very powerful.

Can this affect people who are suffering from depression? Can it also affect those who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder?
Since music works on the emotional bodies and that in turn produces a physical response, it can definitely lighten a mood in a physiological way. With SAD, which could be characterized by “light withdrawal,” one could listen to music while sitting under their full spectrum light box; and I’m sure they would feel much better with the combination of the two. Any time we can add another dimension or element to something, it’s much more effective.

A lot of people feel very nostalgic during the holidays and get sad and depressed from listening to the normal holiday music. What would you recommend in the way of healing music for them?
Part of the reason people may feel sad when listening to traditional holiday music is that they feel disconnected from their childhood, and perhaps long for a simpler and less stressful time. Another part of it could be that the music conjures up some images from an unhappy childhood. In a lot of ways all of our technology that we’ve created for the purpose of making our lives easier has caused us to have more stressful and hectic lives. Music works on and affects us on our emotional levels, whether we realize it or not, and whether or not we are consciously listening. I recommend that they listen to music that they find soothing and that evokes pleasant times, such as ocean or nature music they might have pleasant associative memories with.

Since I grew up in the south in Tennessee I love either a sweet potato soup or Pecan Soup. This year I am serving up Pecan Soup and here is the recipe. Of course it is served along side some of the traditional dishes like turkey, rosted veggies, roasted sweet potatoes, gravy and mashed potatoes. Enjoy the Pecan Soup.

Cream of Pecan Soup

2 tablespoons butter
1 cup diced onion
1/2 cup celery and leaves
4 tablespoon rice flour (to thicken)
6 cups chicken broth (organic if available)
2 teaspoons soy sauce
Dash of ground nutmeg/cinnamon/ginger (to taste)
3 cup pecans, ground fine in the blender (freshly shelled is best)
2-1/2 cups half-and-half
1/4 cup of Maple syrup

Spread the pecans in an ovenproof pan and toast in the oven, stirring frequently, until lightly browned and fragrant, about 15 minutes. Chop coarsely and set aside.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the onion and celery leaves and sauté for 5 minutes. Sprinkle in flour and gradually add the chicken broth, stirring to incorporate flour. Add the soy sauce, nutmeg and ground pecans; simmer 10 minutes. Stir in half-and-half and simmer 5 minutes longer. Remove celery leaves and discard. Garnish with mint sprigs. Makes 6 generous servings.

Happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth and would love to be your spiritual guide to Sedona.
