Retreat to Give Your Self Love

Retreat to set your dial to love. Are you your best friend or worst enemy? At Retreat and Heal we empower our guests with tools to turn up the love dial and delete the critical voice inside. The first step to change is awareness. Become the observer and listen inside and follow these steps to create more love in your life.

1. Decide on a word and a symbol to recenter. Most people run on auto-pilot. Which allows old programs or habits to rule their life. When you find yourself feeling sad, overwhelmed or angry focus on the word peace and see a beautiful picture of a pink rose. Take three deep breaths and watch your feelings and mood shift.

2. Do this exercise several times a day. The more often you shift your feelings and mood the easier it gets.

3. Just before you go to bed at night practice the exercise again and let your last conscious breath each night be of peace and love. You will notice yourself beginning to smile more and feel more joy. You will also begin to notice yourself attracting more happiness and joy into your life.

Retreat And Create your dreams!

When you think of your dreams are you able to hold feelings of "Yes I can" or is there a feeling of "I can't really achieve this"? Your feelings are the most important tools you hold for creating your dreams. Use them creatively and often. Here are some tools to keep you focused and empower your dreams. Below are tools that we share through our personal healing retreats.

1. Start each day with quiet time to visualize and hold the feeling of having your dreams. Listen to music that calms your mind and creates the space to focus.

2. Through out the day allow yourself to day dream and hold the feelings of gratitude for the things already present in your life. Then visualize your vision for what you want in your life.

3. Smile throughout the day. Each time you smile hold the feeling of gratitude for your health and for having your dream vision manifest.

Retreat to Reset Your Normal

Follow these tips from Love's Secret to stop fighting and make love.

1.Fighting over the same issues? Keep shutting down and stuffing your feelings? This habit results in an explosion of hurtful words and pushing each other away. Stop. Take a deep breath. Hold a vision of beautiful pick rose. Allow the rose to absorb all the hurt and pain. Let it all go. Begin to breath in the love offered by the rose.

2. EFT or Emotional Freedom empowers you with tools to heal your past hurt and trauma and stop toxic fighting patterns. Realize, that each of you are reacting from past hurt and trauma, and never from what is or has happened in the present moment. Until you heal the old stuck hurt and trauma, it will continue to be brought to the surface to be healed and released. Remind yourself that love and connection are your intention and let the old hurt go. Hurt and pain may feel normal but be strong and let it go.

3. Agree on a word that can be used by both partners as a signal to stop the fight. Make an agreement to honor each other and your love by stopping the argument when the word is said by either partner. This word must have meaning for both of you. Words used by previous couples include: love, partnership, agreement, commitment, healing, what is important, the past is over, freedom, I choose love. You can also decide on a symbol of love and unity ie: a Dove, heart, a pink bubble of light. When you feel yourself stuck in reaction say the word and hold the symbol in your mind and breath.

4. If you become so triggered that you can't keep yourself from reacting; you are hitting a core survival issue. When this occurs you might need help to get unstuck. Find someone who has experience working with couples and EFT and give them a call to either work in person, or over the phone.

Retreat to Create The Smile Habit

1. Start today with a smile. You might think that you don't have anything to smile about-but go ahead and try it for seven days. Think about things that you like to smile about. Research has shown that smiling can change your brain chemistry and begin creating the Law of Attraction; and you will begin to attract more to smile about.

2. Ways to release over-whelm? EFT also known as Emotional Freedom Technique is performed by tapping on energy meridians that traverse the body. The tapping acts to move and rid the body of uncompleted emotional energy that become major contributors to depression and overwhelm.

3. What symptoms can you use EFT to release? EFT has been used to release energy and symptoms associated with low back pain, headaches, and even more chronic dis-ease. It can be learned and applied for self treatment or you can receive a treatment from a practitioner. Both can be equally effective. EFT can also be applied to rid the mind of subconscious patterns and belief systems that create habits and addictions.

4. How often do you need to apply EFT to be effective? This will vary. Sometimes you will get immediate relief of symptoms. Other times you will remove one layer and then need to apply again within the same day or the next day and remove a deeper layer of emotions to go deeper to the core issue.

5. EFT has been used to quit smoking, release weight, stop sugar cravings and most cravings and urges, including serious addictions. It can be a key to unlock the hidden emotions that cause chronic depression and other nervous disorders including anxiety and panic attacks. It has been called the emotional energy cleanser and also the "miracle worker".
