Is your comfort zone a war zone?
Are you addicted to drama and pain? Did your childhood create cycles and patterns for the chemicals connected to pain, drama and fighting? Running away, shutting down, or trying a new partner can't change these patterns. As a child you may have learned to shutdown your heart and emotions as a way to gain control, and these patterns and habits feel normal yet push love away. and often end in divorce. Our couples retreats empower you with tools for communication, teach you how to let go of emotional hurt and pain, and assist each partner to open their heart and share their love. Through the end of the year each retreat includes a copy of award winning Love's Secret Live Your Life In Love.
Follow these tips from Love's Secret to stop fighting and make love.
1.Fighting over the same issues? Keep shutting down and stuffing your feelings? This habit results in an explosion of hurtful words and pushing each other away. Stop. Take a deep breath. Hold a vision of a beautiful pick rose. Allow the rose to absorb all the hurt and pain. Let it all go. Breath in the love offered by the rose and allow it to bath all your cells and fill your heart.
2. EFT or Emotional Freedom empowers you with tools to heal your past hurt and trauma and stop toxic fighting patterns. Realize, that each of you are triggered and reacting from past hurt and trauma. Until you heal the stuck hurt and trauma, it will continue to be brought to the surface to be healed and released. Remind yourself that love and connection are your intention and let the old hurt go. Hurt and pain may feel normal, (like an itch that begs to be scratched), but be strong and let it go.
3. Make a commitment to love, by agreeing on a word used as a signal to stop the fight. Honor each other and your love by stopping the argument when the word is said by either partner. This word must have meaning for both of you. Words used by previous couples include: love, partnership, agreement, commitment, healing, what is important, the past is over, freedom, I choose love. You can also decide on a symbol of love and unity ie: a Dove, heart, a pink bubble of light. When you feel yourself stuck in reaction say the word and hold the symbol in your mind and breath. Each time you choose love over fighting you will feel more and more freedom from the past.
4. If you become so triggered that you can't keep yourself from reacting; you are hitting a core survival issue. When this occurs you might need help to get unstuck. Find someone who has experience working with couples and EFT and give them a call to either work in person, or over the phone. I offer both phone sessions and skype sessions individually and to couples.
Our Sedona Retreats offer tools for healing your core issues with EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique. I also work with clients throughout the world by phone and have great results with relationship issues, core issues, stop smoking and weight loss. Gift yourself lasting love, invest in a #couples retreat or #personal healing retreat and gift yourself with inner peace and happiness. a couples retreat is a gift of lasting love.

Retreat from fast food and retrain your taste buds
Quinoa Garden Tabbouleh Salad
I grew up on 150 acres in Tn. Summertime brings back lots of memories of the truck patches that we farmed, and all the fresh produce that we ate during summer. Tabbouleh is traditionally made with wheat but my new favorite version is Quinoa. Quinoa (pronounced keen wah) has all the amino acids and is a complete protein. It is very filling and gives you lots of energy. The plants on top are basil and purslane. Purslane is a weed that grows in my garden and is a vegetable source for omega fatty acids. So try my Tabbouleh Garden salad and let me know how you like it.
2 medium size fresh tomatoes
1 medium size cucumber
2-3 sprigs of fresh basil
2 sprigs of fresh mint
2-3 cups of cooked Quinoa(trio of red, white, and black are my fav)
2-3 tbsps organic apple cider vinegar or Balsamic (I switch back and forth)
1 tbsp celtic sea salt
2 large leaves of Chard cut fine
2 large leaves of Kale cut fine
1/4 cup purslane (my new favorite source of vit c, vit E and plant omega 3 and lots of minerals including magnesium)
2 tbsp organic olive oil
Handful of pine nuts
Mix this all together and add salt or vinegar to taste. Anyone care to guess what the flowers are? Enjoy and leave me a comment with your favorite garden recipe. Have you discovered Purslane yet? It may be growing wild in your garden or your yard. It is a natural plant source of vit C, vit E, and Omega 3. Let me know if you need seeds. It is very prolific.
Have you made your trip to Sedona Arizona yet? We offer year round retreats and we would love to be your #Spiritual #Retreat guide to #Sedona.

#Couples Retreat In Sedona to Reconnect to Love
#Retreat and Heal give couples tools to reconnect with their heart connection. Couples start their relationships in euphoric love, high hopes and positive expectations for their dream romance. Fighting and pulling away are never part of the dream. Yet, old patterns from the past surface and seem stronger than any dreams and take over. Most couples who come to Sedona for our retreats find themselves stuck in hurt and pain without tools to heal. Our retreats empower couples to reconnect to love.
Commit to love by creating a vision of what you want in your relationship and open your heart to your vision. Each partner creates a vision of what is wanted in their relationship then co-create a vision from the two visions. This gets both partner current and committed to love. When each partner feels heard and understood the relationships is released from the toxic patterns of the past.
Compassionate communication empowers each partner to speak up and compassionately share what they are feeling and ask for what they want. Through speaking up each person learns to keep their hearts open while keeping compassion and commitment alive. For the past eleven years our couples move from feeling stuck to feeling deeply in love with their partners.
The next step is to keep your heart open and ask for what you want. Invest daily into your relationship account by smiling and holding your vision. EFT, hypnotherapy, energy medicine, shamanic healing, sacred vortex tools, all part of our couples retreat based on your needs. Invest in your relationship by scheduling a retreat and reconnect to love.

Retreat to Create Balance and Harmony in body, mind, and spirit
#Retreat and Heal empowers you with tools to heal body, mind, and spirit. Are you feeling off balance and out of touch? Follow these tips to boost your immune system and turn on your healing light. In our retreats we teach Reiki, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)and help each retreat guest connect with their inner healing energy. Reiki is a tool to clear stress and old emotional baggage. Follow these tips to connect with your "inner healer."
1. Spend time in the sun each day without sun screen, and without sun shades. This boost your ability to absorb vitamin D. Spend 15-20 minutes early in the day before 10 am.
2. Smile and hold the feeling of gratitude. When you are smiling and breathing you can't be in the past (anger and regret) or in the future (fear and anxiety).
3. Drink at least eight glasses of water. Bless your water before drinking it and ask it to cleanse the toxins from your system. Hum and send love to all your community of cells.
4. Decide a "inner peace" anchor. This can be a rose, sunflower, or even a rainbow. Anything that you value and has meaning. Each time you feel the old habit of "stinking thinking", stop and see your anchor and take three breaths, smile and fill your cells and heart with love. The more your practice the easier it gets and the more you begin to smile throughout the day. You create a vicious snow ball effect for more self love and health.
5. Practice "Faith" and positive expectancy. As a child we sometimes created the habit of thinking the worst as a way of protecting ourselves and preparing for the worst. Begin each day by visualizing the very best day possible and then hold gratitude for a good day.
6. Our Sedona Retreats give you tools to release your stress and learn new ways to connect with inner peace.
Follow these simple daily rituals to stay healthy and boost your immune system. Retreat and Heal offers retreats year round that empower guests to embrace their inner healing energies, create inner peace, and clear away emotional baggage. We look forward to meeting you in #Sedona, Arizona one of the most beautiful places on earth to #retreat and heal.
