What does Success Mean to You?
Is success determined by a bank account with a certain amount in it? A certain car or home? When you search your heart and spend quiet time listening inside; you may discover success is a feeling and not money or material things. This is a great time of year to determine what success is and look at how successful you have been this year at creating the feeling of success.
Throughout the end of the year I will be posting blog post directed toward empowering you to make goals and lay your foundation for abundant success for 2012. The first step toward success is to determine what it means and what supports the feeling of success in your daily life.
Take a moment and close your eyes. Imagine that you have a blank canvas and that you can create anything on the canvas. This canvas is your life and the canvas is limited only by your imagination. Give yourself permission to step out of your self imposed box, and go beyond your old programming and beliefs. Spend time for the next week listening inside and writing first thing in the morning on your canvas. What is it that your heart wants that you have denied yourself?
Through the end of the year all of our retreat guests will create a vision board to create their dreams. Retreat from your daily life for at least fifteen minutes a day and see the blank canvas begin to be filled with your dreams.

Relationship Bucket List~Retreat and Heal Contest
Relationships are like a fine wine; it requires care and nurturing in order to age to perfection. What is included in a loving relationship bucket list? Caring, sharing, communicating, loving, compromise, resolution, dreams, growth and ever deepening heart connection. What is included in your relationship bucket list?
The couples who come to Sedona are often overwhelmed with pain and are unable to reach compromise and resolution. During the passionate stage of relationship most couples never think about a time when they will need skills to resolve fights and conflict.
What was your role model for conflict resolution? Most often the role model for conflict is either avoidance of conflict or one partner uses anger to control the situation. Following either role model is a sure behavior destined for disaster.

Stop Fighting and Make Love

1.Fighting over the same issues? Keep shutting down and stuffing your feelings? This habit results in an explosion of hurtful words and pushing each other away. Stop. Take a deep breath and hold a vision of the thing you love most about your mate.

4. If you become so triggered that you can't keep yourself from reacting; you are hitting a core survival issue. When this occurs you might need help to get unstuck. Find someone who has experience working with couples and EFT and give them a call to either work in person, or over the phone.

Addicted to Clutter? Retreat and reset your normal

For me I grew up in an environment where stress, chaos, and clutter felt normal. Here are the new habits that I found that helped me reset my normal feeling of clutter to organized and relaxed.
Follow these three tips to shift your life from clutter and chaos to inner peace and happiness.
1. Clutter comes from a habit of self sabotage and a feeling of holding on. Practice Yoga at least three times per week. Yoga is a great way to expand your mind, body, and spirit. Yoga creates inner strength to break free from patterns and habits; creating a calm clear mind.
2. Meditation has been proven to shift your mind and create new thought patterns. Most of our retreat guests have a challenge slowing their mind down from the hectic pace of their life. The best way to slow the mind down is to practice breath awareness. As you observe your breath, just watch your thoughts. Become the witness and slowly you will notice your thoughts becoming more peaceful. One of the most powerful and popular meditations that we teach is the "inner smile" meditation. Find a peaceful place in nature or in your home. Play some relaxing music and hold the intention to let go. 2. Create times to breath consciously and listen inside. This means that you must create the ability to be still. For most of us in this hurry-worry world this is our biggest challenge. Our mind is racing from appointment to appointment, and focusing on what is next on our calendar. Two secrets to finding your purpose, passion, and taking charge of your power, is your breath and a quiet mind.
3. Keep focused on your intention. In rushing through life it is easy to loose focus and thus loose your connection to the Divine. When we maintain our connection to our spiritual essence, we are connected to our purpose, passion, and our power. Schedule time into your calendar for spiritual renewal. A spiritual retreat once a month is a great source to renew your body, mind and spirit, and master the law of attraction.

EFT for Health and Healing

Romance or TV? Retreat and Heal reveals Loves Secret
Do you find romance dwindling, with sex taking a back seat to the TV? Today's hectic pace of life and auto-pilot living take over, and leave romance and love in the dust. Take control of your love life by planning a romantic evening to heat up your bedroom.
o If you idea of celebrating love is sitting on the couch with your couch potato. Turn the TV off and set the mood for romance. Your partner may have lost their libido to the remote control. Follow these rituals to create a magical romantic evening.
o Pick up her favorite flowers and a mood candle. Make sure that you show up first before her. Put the flowers on the nightstand and light the mood candle.
o Put clean red sheets on the bed. Leave a love note on her pillow with rose petals under the sheet.
o Run a hot bath in the tub five minutes before she arrives. Add three drops each of lavender, ylang ylang, rose geranium, clary sage and marjoram to a teaspoon of honey and add this to her bath just before she enters. Put on her favorite music and quickly get in the shower.
o When she arrives take her directly to the bathroom and help her undress. Have her slip into the bath. Roll a towel and slip it under her head.
o Once she is ready to leave her heavenly bath. Have a nice bathrobe for her to slip into. Lay her on the bed in her bathrobe on top of the rose petals. Take a relaxing lotion like lavender and massage her feet.

Love, Sex, and Happy Relationships
What is the most important component of a happy relationship? Love or sex. You may have sex and passion without love but it will be short-lived. To keep love, sex, and passion alive long after the initial lust and passionate stage of a relationship, it requires a vision of what you want, a good foundation, commitment, and unconditional love.
Love's Secret offers an action plan to build love habits by releasing old habits and conditioning and learning to focus on love. Focus on what you have in your life that you love, and also focus on the things you love about your mate, and release the habit of nit-picking. Retreat to Regroup
Ever had one of those days when you feel that life has passed you by? Time to regroup. When you feel that you are lost and can't find your way. Treat this as a message that you need to let go and find a new way. Everything in life is a message including feeling lost, overwhelmed and depressed. There is a dream deep in your heart that you lost trying to get your attention.
Try this tension tamer. Turn off the computer, cell phone, tv and run a warm tub of water. Light a yellow candle, and put a tblsp of honey, 3 drops of lavender essential oil, 2 drops of clary sage, and 2 drops of rose geranium. Put your favorite music on your ipod and relax and let go.
When you emerge from your retreat. Sit down with a pen and pad and just allow whatever is on your mind to go on paper. Take a look at what your heart is wanting to express. For the next week repeat this exercise as often as possible. Without judging just allow time to listen to what has been shut inside.

Retreat and Return to Love
Retreat from your fighting patterns and return to love. If you find yourself fighting more than making love; retreat from your old habits and advance toward love. Many couples start out deeply in love only to find their love buried in life and patterns that push love away.
When couples disagree, shut down and give each other the silent treatment, research has proven it creates health problems. Research studies also show that married women who keep silent during marital disputes have a greater chance of dying from heart disease and other conditions than women who speak their minds. The research, from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, showed that how couples fight affects not only their relationship but their health.

Retreat and Advance To Inner Peace
Retreat in the moment and connect to inner peace. Is inner peace harder to find with anxiety and stress feeling normal throughout your days and evenings? Learn to anchor in peace at a moment's notice.
Create a word, phrase or picture and train yourself to anchor peace into your body and mind no matter where you are or what you are doing. Press pause and stop feelings of being fragile, unstable and insecure. Choose to be happy by controlling your thoughts, and your emotions. If you have a pattern of reacting to life with fear, frustration, or irritation; that habit will continue until you replace it with a new habit. See a picture and connect it to a feeling and when you visualize the picture; it is a great way to train your mind and body to react differently. Follow these tips and anchor in peace throughout your day.
Start your day with 15 minutes of stillness in nature either in your mind or if possible physically. There is never a better time to begin than now.
* Stay present through out your day, recognize; acknowledge your emotional warning signals. Practice conscious breathing throughout your day and check in with your body. Most people are detached from their body and travel through their day on auto-pilot.
*Use your breath to keep yourself present and stop what you are doing in the moment. Your breath can stop your automatic stress response and stop your automatic response to your addicted emotional cycle.
* Breathe away negativity. Your breath is another anchoring tool to change your addicted emotions, and habits. You can choose to release the internal sensation of anxiety and overwhelm from your body. Is Sedona Arizona Calling You? What I love about Sedona
Sedona, Arizona first called me home in 1987. You know when something comes to your mind and you can't seem to shake it. It was love at first sight for me with Sedona, below I am sharing what I love about Sedona and why you might want to schedule a Personal Healing Retreat with Retreat and Heal.
• I love the Red Rocks in Sedona and you won't find anything more beautiful anywhere in the world. You won't have to hunt to find them they are everywhere you look.
• The reason I love the red rocks is they are a rare rock formation not found in many places on the earth. The red comes from the high iron content in the rock formations.
• I love the hiking trails located in all directions. People travel from around the world to hike these trails. A hike is a good way to get out among the rocks and soak in the views and healing energy.
• The hiking trails are both easy and challenging and give you as much of a workout as you wish to set up for yourself. Oak Creek Canyon is one of the most beautiful and sought after trails-and one of my favorites.
• I love the sunrises and the sunsets. We have some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the world. When the time comes for sunset you find standing room only on Airport Mesa lookout point.
• Our sunsets are quoted as being the most breath taking and inspirational experiences in the world. Arizona's spectacular sunsets reach their pinnacle here. If you don't like the crowds at the airport lookout, try on the patio at Canyon Breeze restaurant. Another less-crowded alternative is the first turnout going up the hill on Schnebly Road.
• I love the vortex sites. Another natural wonder of the world. Because of the high iron content and the high crystalline content of the limestone white rocks the combination of rock formations form a natural magnetic vortex energy.
• The energy of the sites, are easy for me, as I have been a practicing energy healer for almost thirty years. Some people feel the energy and others consider it new age woo-woo. But most agree that they feel a special peace in Sedona that they have not experienced anywhere else. Need Inner Peace~Retreat In the Moment
Retreat is a necessity in our world today. Weather disasters, economic concerns, and the stress of everyday life. You can retreat no matter where you are or what is happening and reclaim inner peace.
Create a refuge in your mind and experience inner peace in a moment's notice. With the stress of the economy causing more and more anxiety, tension, and stress; stress management is a valuable tool. Here are some quick tools to keep you centered no matter what is going on around you.
1. Decide on a symbol or picture that creates inner peace for you. When I want to feel peace, I visualize a place in nature that I love. When I visualize this place I also hold the feeling of peace. Each time I visit my "peaceful place" and hold the feeling of peace, I deepen my ability to feel "inner peace".
2. Each time you notice yourself feeling stress or fearing or worrying. Hit the delete button and visit your peaceful place. With each visit in the moment you will experience more and deeper "inner peace".
3. Fear and worry deplete your energy and create stress hormones that create disease. With consistent practice you can change your "stress habits" to a "peace habit". Once you can see your peaceful place, and feel "inner peace" add the feeling of gratitude for having this beautiful and peaceful place. As you hold the feeling of peace, say an anchor phrase (I choose to feel peace now), see your peaceful place, and hold the feeling of gratitude. Take five long deep breaths. Feel all the cells, and atoms of your body bathed in love and light.

Are You Living Your Purpose
If you could create anything in the world you want what would it be? What does success mean to you?
You can't apply the Law of Attraction to achieve the results you want until you have a vision for what you want. What does success mean to you? What makes you feel successful and passionate in your life? The abundance and success that you are craving is held in the feelings that come from being successful. Combine the feelings of success doing something you feel passionate about and you find your purpose.
At different times in my life success has had different meanings and my passion has also shifted over the years. When my children were young I was passionate about feeding them healthy foods and made everything from scratch. I also studied holistic health, herbs, and healing and applied it in our family life. Later it became a passion to share my knowledge of healing and health with others and I opened a state approved school of holistic health for eleven years. Then my passion shifted when we sold the school and moved to Arizona. Healing, teaching, and health have been my passion for several years and the feeling of success is seeing others shift their habits from negative out grown habits to habits that support inner peace.
In order to get in touch with your purpose and passion and what success feels like to you. Set aside time to be alone and undisturbed by phones or distractions. Light a green candle and hold the intention to align with your purpose and passion. Then focus on the exercise below.
1. Determine what Success means to you. Once you determine what success means and the feelings that it holds for you; you can build your action plan.
2. Begin to visualize yourself experiencing success in your own personal dream of success. Set aside 15 minutes each day to see, and feel yourself experiencing success on a daily basis. (ie:Imagine yourself in a loving partnership, with loving supportive friendships, and in work that feeds your body, mind and spirit.)
3. The feelings of success are the most important part. Once you begin experiencing the feelings of success on a daily basis. Your feelings and visualizations will draw the success to you using the law of attraction.

Spring Retreat to Renew Your Love
Is your relationship in a rut? Try this tool to stop pushing love away.
1. Do you keep fighting over the same issues and shut down and stuff your feelings? This habit will result in an explosion of hurtful words and pushing each other away.
2. EFT or Emotional Freedom empower you with the tools to heal your past hurt and trauma and stop your recurring fighting patterns. First realize, that each of you are reacting from past hurt and trauma, and never from what is or has happened in the present moment. Until you heal the old stuck hurt and trauma, it will continue to be brought to the surface to be healed and released.
3. Agree on a word that can be used by both partners as a signal to stop the fight. Make an agreement to honor each other and your love by stopping the argument when the word is said by either partner. This word must have meaning for both of you. Words used by previous couples include: love, partnership, agreement, commitment, healing, what is important, the past, freedom, I choose love. You can also decide on a symbol of love and unity ie: a Dove, heart, a pink bubble of light. When you feel yourself stuck in reaction say the word and hold the symbol in your mind and breath.
4. If you become so triggered that you can't keep yourself from reacting; you are hitting a core survival issue. When this occurs you might need help to get unstuck. Find someone who has experience working with couples and EFT and give them a call to either work in person, or over the phone.

Angels around you!
Angels are always there waiting to be invited to assist you and guide you to your highest path. However, because of free will, Angels will never interfere unless we invite them.
Are you feeling anxious and fearful of the earth changes and current changes in our economy and environment? Anxiety never protects you but robs you of inner peace and joy. Here are some tips to release fear and anxiety and connect with inner peace and joy.
1. Light a candle and ask your angels to give you the strength to let go of your fear and worry habit. As a child you learned to fear as a way of feeling ready for what happens next. Each time you think fear thoughts and worry about the future your body is flooded with stress hormones. This eventually begins to overstress your organs, glands, and cells.
2. Your body becomes addicted to the chemicals associated with the stress hormones. Spend fifteen minutes seeing and feeling yourself shift from fear to feelings of trust and being safe to be in the moment.
3. Each time you find yourself fearing or worrying about your future--shift from fear to your vision of what you want. Feel the presence of your Angels around you supporting you. See yourself happy, feeling safe, smiling, surrounded by loving supportive friends and family.

Shift Gears in Your Mind and Create Inner Peace

Follow these tips to create more peace without leaving home. Many people are feeling more and more overwhelm and less peace within on a daily basis. 1. First of all you must take the monster out of the closet. What are you most afraid to admit to yourself? Is the fear that you feel equal to the looming threat in your mind?
2. Often the threat and the fear associated with the underlying fear are only imagined. However, scientific research shared in What the Bleep Do We Know,shows that the mind doesn't know the difference in a "real" threat, or an imagined threat. Most imagined threats are exaggerated by fear stored in the subconscious mind.
3. The only way to make sure that you are not losing sleep over imagined fears is to consciously explore what you are reacting to. One good way to face your fear head on is to journal just before bed and complete all your feelings from the day.

Spring Cleaning Tips to Clear Body, Mind and Spirit
Retreat and spring clean your body, mind, and renew your spirit. It has been warm in Sedona for the last few days and I have opened the windows and began my spring cleaning? A clean house feels fresh and has a feeling of vibrant energy. Are you ready to clear away the stuck energy in your life? Here are some tips to retreat and renew yourself without leaving home.
1. Purchase a beautiful new vibrant colored journal. Write down what you love about your life and what you are most unhappy with. Spend time thinking about the things that you want to expand and see the unhappy emotions and habits being replaced by more of what you love. Notice how refreshing it feels to expand what you love.
2. Purchase a small green candle. Light your candle as you write in your journal. Set your intention to connect with your angels or guides (whichever fits your beliefs).
3. Shower each morning. As you allow the shower to cleanse your body. Set your intentions to release your stress from your body, mind, and spirit. As you shower imagine being in a pine forest and how fresh the air smells.
4. After your shower spend time practicing breathing and release your thoughts. As a thought floats in release it to your Angels. 3. The next step is to feel the joy that your place brings to your body, mind and spirit. Add the feeling of gratitude for having this beautiful and peaceful place. Sedona is Beautiful Share Your Photos and Win
Sedona is a magical place of peace and beauty. Many feel a calling to visit Sedona; for many different reasons. Some come to hike the red rocks, while others come to release their stress or unhappiness. When I first heard the call to Sedona over twenty five years ago I had never heard of Sedona or its vortex sites.
Twenty five years ago I was deep in transition and felt complete confusion and overwhelm. I had just completed a divorce from my childhood sweetheart and was moving forward with my life. Twenty five years ago I was deep in transition and felt complete confusion and overwhelm. I had just completed a divorce from my childhood sweetheart and was moving forward with my life. Below find step by step instructions to create a Bowl Burning Ceremony. It is a great way to clear old patterns and welcome in what you want in your life.
1. Take a large piece of white computer paper. On the page draw a large circle. This circle has been used for ceremony through out time in many indigenous cultures. It represents you life in balance in health, wealth and spiritually.
2. On the inside of the circle write down everything you want in your life. On the outside of the circle write down what blocks you from having what you want.
3. Take all the things on the outside of the circle and write it down on a clean piece of paper. Burn this piece of paper. At the same time you are burning the paper, hold a vision of having everything that is inside your circle and feel gratitude for having it.
4. Each morning when you wake up connect to the feeling of gratitude and hold your vision.
5. Hold positive expectation throughout your day and be open to the new opportunities that will appear in your life.
